Here's some new artwork from the upcoming update. One of these three pictures will be shown on the end game screen, depending on whether you win, lose or surrender.

The images follow the website design theme, but now medieval warfare is added to the mix, to underline the flexibility and diversity of the custom maps.

First again! (^_^) Also, I love the Japanese soldiers on the left of the victory pic. Would be nice to have them in-game.  Hm. Maybe I should go take a look at scenarios...

My god, this is amazing. I like how it references the player, although I think maybe "You've been DEFEATED", "You've SURRENDERED" for the headings, and "But if you've learned from this defeat, you have not truly lost" might be better choices of grammar, but I'm just a Grammar Nazi, so who cares. Either way, very awesome! I can't tell you how amazing these look (well, theoretically I could, but that would require James LaBrie and The Edge playing a set in the background and the entire Mexican Army marching to the beat to even match the epicness that I've seen on this website lately). Keep the good shit comin' Admins!

Νice art, though blue colour theme to surrendering looks weird to me, it seems too comforting, have you tried some greyer blue?

NOICE. I don't see why you have cavalry and arrows punched into the man though... are you planning for AW to become a macrohistorical game (i.e. you advance through ages and stuff)? Or is it just there for the map-makers?

Dude, it's right in the (very short) news message: "The images follow the website design theme, but now medieval warfare is added to the mix, to underline the flexibility and diversity of the custom maps." From now on the modern warfare theme will no longer dominate the game, since some of the most popular user-created maps will probably involve fantasy/medieval/space/whatever themes.
