The idea originated from here and here. Nearly every strategy game forums has this game. I and Frederick II plan on starting the idea in AtWar.

  • Gold - G

  • Wood - W

    You calculate the resources by this code. The letter in the front represents one of the materials above. The number at the side you multiply by 10. Now you know how much resource you gain from that province. Example: G8 = Gold 80 a turn.

    Units:
    Here you can find out how much each unit would cost. Every unit starts from conscripts and works it way up to the elites.

  • Conscripts - 10 Gold.
  • Infantry - 20 Gold and 30 Iron to upgrade from Conscripts.
  • Archers - 20 Gold and 30 Silver to upgrade from Conscripts.
  • Heavy Cavalry - 40 Gold, 50 Iron and 40 Silver to upgrade from Infantry.
  • Light Cavalry - 40 Gold,50 Silver and 40 Iron to upgrade from Archers.
  • War Ship - 60 Gold,100 Wood and 20 Iron to build.
  • Transport Ship - 100 Gold, 100 Wood and 20 Silver to build. Can transport 18 Units or 100 Resources at once.

    Buildings:
    You can build buildings in province of your empire that you think it suits best. Here is a list of buildings and their function

  • Farm - 10 Food a turn.
  • Tower - Vision into provinces within 3 province radius of the province built in.
  • Barracks - Allows military units to be build in its province.
  • Dockyard - Reduces cost for ships by 20 each resource.
  • Fishing Dock - 15 Food a turn. Only build-able at province with water supply.

    Diplomacy:
    There are a few type of diplomacy you can have with another player they are:

  • Mutual Defense - You will help the player if he as at war. Works vice-verse too.
  • Peace - You don't attack him and he doesn't attack you. To avoid backstabbing there is a 15 turn period of this treaty. After that 2 turns are given for both parties to decide if they want to extend or not.
  • Trade Pact - You can pass through the players waters but a fee must be payed for every turn in his waters as he will provide defense for your merchants.
  • Protection System - You are at peace with a bigger power. Every __ turn you pay the bigger power __ resources. If violated the bigger power can attack.
  • Cede System - You can give you land to another power for __ resources or free. Takes 2 turns to process.

    Defense Buildings:
    Non-mobile building that defend a valuable province. Can be destroyed for 50% resource back.

  • Wall - Slows down enemy attack on a province by 2 turn.
  • Catapults - Archers loses 0.5 Defense for every catapult in the province.
  • Trebuchet - Enemy War Ships lose 1 Attack for every Trebuchet.
  • Castle - 50 Defense for province.
  • Bared Wires - Enemy Infantry and Archer can't attack for 1 turn.

    Natives and How they work:

    Natives are neutrals in every province. How you calculate the province is based on the resources. The formula is after the alphabet in the resource map there is a number, multiply that number by 25 and you got your natives of that province. Here is an example all the way at your top right of the resource map there is Iceland. One of the province has W5 which means 50 Wood a turn as for the native over there it is 5x25= 125 natives.

  • Natives have a defense of 3 each.

    Other Information:

  • 1 Turn - 5 Years
  • Technology will improve every month.
  • You will receive messages every month on resources, enemy units in sight, new diplomacy request, and attacks.
  • Everyone starts with 100 Units, 50 Infantry and 50 Archers.
  • Natives act like neutrals. They do not attack you but you need to attack them for a province.
  • Resource will update as time flows.
  • You start with 100 of each resource.
  • Native have 3 Defense each.
  • All units has 5 HP!

    How points are calculated.

    Very simple. For every province you have you get 2 points. For every enemy you kill you get 1 point. We play until the game dies or there is only one alliance left standing.

    Common Questions

    Question: Is it intended that some regions have no resources value at all?
    Answer : Yes.

    Question: How do I calculate resource value?
    Answer : Look at the resource map in the top post. For each province there is an alphabet and a letter. The letter represents a resource and the number should be multiplied by 10 for the amount of resource it produces each turn.

    Question: How long does a turn last?
    Answer : 2 Days.

    Question: How do I keep track of my resources?
    Answer : I'll message you every time a new turn begins. With your empires current status.

    Question: Will another one of these be done?
    Answer : I might.

    Question: How do we win?
    Answer : You can ally end just like at-war or you could eliminate everyone.

    Question: When do we start?
    Answer : June 3rd 2013, Monday

    Question: Can technology improve?
    Answer : Yes, I will update monthly the unit list, building list and defense list. Resource list will update if there are new units/building that needs a new resource.

    Question: What does food do?
    Answer : For every province you own you pay 10 food a turn. If i own 4 provinces i pay 40 food every turn.

    Question: How many ports can I move through in 1 turn?

    I'm going to point something out about a lot of people's first moves.

    First of all, a Transport ship costs 100 gold if im not mistaken. therefore you could make nothing else besides that.

    Second of all, a lot of sent attacks have insuffient attack to win their battles. Each number on the province means 25 natives. Natives have a defense of 3 each, so 4 infantry, 7 attack each, 28 attack, plus 4 archers, 4 attack each, 16 attack would mean 44 total attack, while a province of, lets say, C1, has 25 natives, 3 defense each, which means 75 defense. 44 attack is not enough to defeat 75.

    This happens in even higher number attacks. I've seen mistakes in Meester, Skittz, And Ezza's moves that would cause them to lose their attacks or, if lucky, lose nearly all of their attacking troops

    I've been reading the rules over and over again and i've found nothing to counter my observations.

    If im wrong, please enlighten me, because this is bothering me alot
