Jews have always been integral part of the region. Even before the rise of islam (an half millenium after they were deported from the region by romans) there still were jewish cities that contained tens of thousands of people. that's more population than the most populated arab cities in 17th century Palestine, in fact palestine is a name that the romans gave to the region instead of judea because of the attempts of the Jews to resist.

My point is even the few muslims who lived here lived mainly in tribes. they did not have any national identity and did not look beyond their tribe. most of the arab tribe in medditerian tribes were constantly immigrating from one region to another for economical and territorial reasons. the only reason Jews did not remain a majority in the region was the concious Islamic attempts to genocide or Islamice them no matter what (as they did to whoever they managed to put their hands on). In fact the "palestinians" have accepted their first "palestinian" leader only at the 80es so what are you talking about?

Another good example of muslim tyrant behaviour is the Druze. they were the majority in the galile and their families had hundreds of years of history and traditions there. after the british and the Zionists came started settling the region (not the galile yet but more southern parts) the wealth of the region has increased and many syrians started immigrating there. ofcourse they as well started massacres pillages crimes and illegal taxing (not by authorities but blackmailing of tribes) against Druze because of their western look western names and "fake islamic religion". nowdays the druze of the galilee have the highest rate of volenteer into fighting units in Israeli IDF. more than Jews. because they as well witnessed the way they want to drive this country into (not peace).

1. Israel did'nt colonize anything. during the ottoman regime and british mandatory in the country all jewish villages that were founded built on private lands that were bought from arab locals and buisnessmen.

2. Discpline and Professionalism are sacred values in the IDF. we are not allowed to open fire on civilians unarmed neturalised or opponents that threw their weapons. people sit in jail for months and years for doing so. (i got whole month of detention + extra kitchen duties) for loading my gun realing on voices only and not spotting my enemy. but cousin sat 4 months in jails because when he fought in gaza hamas soldier opened fired on him but when he firing back instead of aiming to the center of the body he killed him in headshot).

3. Collateral damage does happen but Hamas has the higher responsabilty for it. it has been proven that they hide missiles and weaponry in school and medicials centres. they don't even deny it. in UN investigation in Gaza it was documented that the Hamas forbidded peole to leave their houses when Israel warned it is about to be bombed. Israel spends billions of dollars on techlonogy to make our firepower as accurate as possible to avoid collectral damage. eventually even if you think we are evil and try to kill innocents on purpose collectral damage hurts Israel image to the world as well.
