A rewarding bug report system

This is an idea from another online game. People need motivation to report bugs, a great motivation. On the other game the reward for reporting a notable bug is a Tester medal, which also earns you some ingame money. Among the more active players this is some kind of prestige, just like other rare medals.

Implementing something similar, in the form of protocoins, SP, or a trophy (maybe all three?), would increase the amount of reported bugs dramatically. It'd also direct people's interest from abusing bugs to finding and explaining them. It's similar to whitehat hackers (not interested in abuse), compared to blackhat hackers (interested in abuse).

Right now people are reporting bugs faster than I can fix them. Someday when I'm all caught up and starting to get bored, maybe I'll do this.

Which would increase the motivation to report bugs, especially for low ranks. It can be nuanced, e.g. by giving 100 PC per bug, or making it dependent on the severity of the bug.

The main point of this is to redirect abusive intentions into something more useful. As I see, currently there are many people who are able to find out bugs easily, but have the intention of abuse them in a game only. At best, the bugs just remain hidden. There is no incentive at all to report bugs until they are used against you in game. You should consider this option, since the amount of bug-exploiting in the other game (with 20k+ players at some point) was always at bare minimum.

Such ideas only kill the player base, for personal harsh beliefs of certain persons with power in the game. Not only that it doesn't work, it's also counterproductive.

What I'm proposing is based on basic psychology and results from the other online games. I don't want to post the names of those games since it may be understood as promotion of them (which I think isn't allowed). If mods allow it, I can post the links to them.
