The helicopter is unlocked with a lot of SP so don't buy it, you can like AtWar on Facebook and get them for free. Don't worry about them now though, they won't be of much use to you. They have added attack against infantry and militia, but are only worth the money in specific situations where you have excess money and need a lot of close and instant attack, or using the premium strategy Desert Storm.
