Change the system.

I will make this thread just to see how many dislike the new system and how many don't so we don't have to argue in the original.So I personally dislike the new system because:

1)Players will enjoy the game more than they did but that doesn't mean they will become better.They will think they good as they are and thats how they will stay,noobs.

2)Seriously now.Why did you think setting rank limit to +,- 3 ranks higher,lower based on your rank is a good idea?Just make it no-premium setting too.
Now high ranks as 8,9,10 etc will be bored since they will only be able to play between them(that may not be a problem for the guys that only play eu 3v3 and cws but what about scenarios,maps or games on the default map with many players?

3)Furthermore they will just be as shit as they are because they will never improve since they will think they are op right now as they will beat lower and same ranks with them!

4)We high ranks can't even play each other lol -------

People are here to have fun, learning to play AW with bugs and memorized expansions goes as optional.

It just got implemented a little while ago, you might want to give it a bit of time first before deciding on it

Supporters can no longer help make games for the lowest ranks in the beginners lobby (At least high rank supporters). I can only make games with min r5 which defeats the purpose of the NPP program. Not sure if this is a bug or wasn't taken into account.

I mean just look at this.


Each game has its own problem,the one has to high minimum rank limit,the other to low maximum rank limit etc etc.
Well this is how it will continue,there will be at least 4 new games with no more than 5 players in each one of them...

We have a serious problem.

Even premium players can't go outside the rank limits imposed by the update.

Therefore the lowest rank that can join my games is 5

This means that anyone can't play with lower ranks. I can't bypass this by sending direct game link (I've tried)

Our clan (underdogs) can't train with it's lower ranked members because they are below the lowest rank limit allowed.

The AW bootcamp program is currently impossible because even magic supporter powers do not evade rank limits so none of the new playes we are allowed to teach can play with us.

This also applies to the upper limits as well, so there is no way for me to play with e.g. mauzer if I make the game. I've lost the ability to make game with max rank 20 despite being premium.

Premium players should be allowed to set any rank limits like before
And I also think that anyone, including non premiums should be able to set max rank to 20 like it used to be so they can play with any higher ranked player.

This is a mess.

Pls fix.

Sorry about the shouting, but this is an important issue that is potentially game breaking. Many things we took for granted are broken and I'm going to keep talking about this until there is a solution. Ivan and amok, we love you but you're bringing us down

It's is now much harder for higher ranks to get games.
Lower ranks do not want to lose so, they make it easier for themselves.
It seems the higher ranks were not considered when making this decision.

Only thing i see is even with premium on a r5 account the highest i can set my game to is r10. and like clovis stated in the other thread if i want to play with a higher rank like him to learn i cant set my game to that so he would have to make it so i could join, and then that is where you run into heatchecks issue witch is the higher ranks that are running the bootcamps and training lower ranks can only allow r5 and up so it most def defeats the NPP program..

Rank limits are counter productive, if u want noobs to get better allow them to play other types of game than world 50K (aka allyfag bonanza) and other useless RPs and let non premium players host team games and duels...
Now maybe the aim is simply to retain bad players to maximize ad income, in which case I guess system works pretty well, u segregate bad players (the vast majority) from good ones (a small minority)

Literally the most retarded update I've ever seen in my 21 years of living.

This on the other hand could be a serious issue. As I have stated numerous times and been ignored wouldn't it be a good idea then to remove these default rank limits or at least make changing them no premium at least for the main room? Keep them implemented in the beginners room to avoid rank 6s 7s from farming but these rank limits are not in the least bit necessary in the main room.

1 aspect is it makes it even easiwr for rank7- to farm elo as they create their duels in the beginner room...
Why do we have 2 rooms anyway?? Ah yes only reason is because they made rank limit a paid option....

People just needed time to adjust to the change. We definitely need a system that encourages new players to keep playing and I believe the rank limit change would have done that over time.

Thats true but players getting better is irrelevant if the game can't attract and maintain new members to the community though
