Nice double-standards saying people in the region can solve their problems, but when Serbia tried that, it gets invaded by USA, country 15,000km away lol. Same for Iraq, Libya, Venezuela, Korea, Vietnam, Iran, Cuba, Russia... USA just keep meddling and stupid people keeps supporting their foreign policy.

Serbia was doing a genocide... I don't give a rat's ass what people in the Balkans do as long they they don't kill each other and don't restrict human rights. The US government feels the same way, even with its flaws.

You're posting random anecdotes. I could also talk about the Srebrenica Massacre, in which 8,000 people was massacred by the Serbia you seem to love so much. In any case, Serbia was stopped and a somewhat unstable peace was restored. I'm not against or for any country in the Balkans but you have to recognize that the US had to intervene for the sake of innocents being murdered by Serbia.

Maybe the US did bomb the wrong targets; if that is true, then the US can be criticized for it. I'm just failing to understand how attacking a country in order to stop it from killing thousands of innocent civilians is a bad thing. If the US actually did attack innocents instead of military targets though, feel free to criticize it all you want. No country is above criticism and every country should be a country free of genocides.

US was right to attack Serbian military targets (at least those of Milosevic etc) that were directly engaging in genocide. But I agree that the US should not have attacked civilians. There was no need to attack innocents and it's a bad thing when innocents die, no matter whether they are Bosnian, Serb, Kosovan etc.

I'm not serbophobe, just anti-Milosovic and his ilk. I agree with you that innocent Serbian civilians should not have been bombed. The US should have only attacked military targets directly engaged in mass murders.

If other places are different, I think the inconsistency testifies if not help proves that the US Government, like most governments, doesn't really care about ''human rights'' or other Enlightenment fiction unironically. Rather, they had their own interests they wanted to enforce. I can think up one off at the top of my head. Syrian and Serbian territory can actually be in the way of a pipeline for gas that would threaten Russia economically very harshly.
