Try another browser (Chrome?). Check if there any Javascript errors in console (here's a guide: http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=21909).

Yes, don't use that mode. It isn't a good thing overall. And since you can no longer start games on Silverlight, but only finish them, go back to using Chrome

Before refreshing the page, could you open the console. Then load the page, open Network tab (1), set filter to 'negotiate' (2) and take a screenshot of the response headers (3) or the whole console. See example: http://imgur.com/XYLtDIO

This doesn't make any sense - "No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://atwar-game.com' is therefore not allowed access." It is right there in the response headers...Have you got some weird network/firewall/proxy/router setup by any chance or an ISP interfering with your traffic? You could also try this extension, I suppose - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/allow-control-allow-origi/nlfbmbojpeacfghkpbjhddihlkkiljbi?hl=en
