Casual is a good equalizer.

Anyways if they are investing the time to run the tournament as individuals then they can run it how they wish. If it is an 'official' tournament endorsed by AtWar, then it should be open to all.

Also nice job taking my trolling of waffel seriously. All of us in that thread have known each other for years. We annoy and poke fun at each other. It's what we do.

And I would argue that people who repeatedly run the timer to 48 hours when everyone else completes their turn within 24 are those who should sit the game out. Your dragging of the game out causes others to forget or become disinterested. It's especially annoying when you see them online for hours and the game they're delaying is a tourney game in the early stages where they only have 10 or so moves to make. In your case you even admitted you were playing other bigger casuals.

Perhaps you should learn to manage your time and priorities better rather than getting your back up at righteous complaints.

You are correct, but there were others chiming in, and not just against Waffel (I was ignoring the banter between Waffel because I've seen it before and there's no real harm in it).

Because in reality you can do 2 turns at once if you're the last one, what reason could you have to do one and refuse to do next one.

It's up to them. I used to get pissed about it, but I've been in the casual room for almost all of my time here, so I'm resigned to it. I am glad when, from time to time, I need that 46th or 47th hour. I don't do it on purpose, but I know it's there if I need it.

If after 48h you spend 5min doing your turn, and after that you cant spare another 5min to do next one too, then maybe you're the one who shouldnt play casual.

And yes, its up to them to decide if they wanna act like a dick. But then its up to others to decide if they wanna harass them or not for that.

It's not for you, or me, or anyone else, to decide. 48hrs is 48hrs. Let it be.

What kind of logic is that? If you want to allow dickheads to berate other players in any tourneys that you host, then that's your prerogative. We cannot have that bullshit. I certainly will not tolerate it. There is no excuse for such shitty behavior. Let it be.

Ehm because most people actually have something else to do with their time rather than wasting an huge amount of time redoing their moves etc. Especially if every turn takes a while to do. Lets not forget the whole concept of Casual games in the first place will ya?

Lets be honest Steve, most of your turns, especially in late games, take more than 5 mins. It can take up to 15 to 20 mins, especially if you're fighting multiple fronts, have alot of moves to make, refreshes, and you're also trying to get the most efficient turn thats possible, instead of just randomly attack somewhere and hope for the best with 1 stack. This is more than just ''5 mins''. And thats only for 1 game, lol.

Most casual players are playing multiple games at the same time, and some might be 5 mins work, but some could be way more, like explained above. If you're not an active player and you have, lets say max 1 hour a day to do your games, you do the games that are close to ending their turn first and so on. If you have multiple games and each one of them take a while, its pretty righteous to do the others a day later and so on, since you have 48h anyways.

So instead of bitching at these guys for a special tournament for casual players, maybe you guys should reconsider your recent behaviour in and against casual games/players. You guys allow tournaments that are scenario-based, and mostly contains a high percentage of players from that community, yet you guys dont allow a tournament for casual games with an high amount or perhaps even only casual players, which is basically a community itself, just on a smaller base. Don't get me started about competitive community.

And 20min? Dude, you needed at least an hour to do your turn there D How many times have you got into that game, did your moves and said "fuck it" and left? lets be honest, you got bored and you didnt want to play that game anymore.

Also this could just be me but i see 48h as a limit, and you should do your moves asap. 48h is if something happens or you're too busy. Not to wait 48h every turn for no other reason than you're lazy. But then again, it could be just me. I'm not a professional casual player D

P.S. I dont care about special casual tournament or w/e it is. Im just bitching about this guy bitching about us bitching on another thread at you for being a dick and using that as an argument for this one D (my brain hurts)
