In Defense of Traditionalism

If Traditionalism is the aggressor and social-progressive ideas are always the victim, why is traditionalism always under attack?

Do you not love your culture? do you not love your people? Do you love not tradition?

Well, Congratulations if you hold dear to any of the pillars of society that were presented to you above, then you are now officially a uneducated/racists/homophobe (in that order) just like anybody who dares to disagree with the social-progressive polices such as gay marriage. Do not let the word "Progressive" fool you my friend, they don't aim to expand forward the bridge of prosperity that has been forge by your ancestors over the centuries. Their aim is to burn the bridge down and build a new one upon the ashes of the old one and then ask for your heritage and your pride in a golden plate as a payment for their services.

Why does the left need to discredit traditionalism? you may ask, is because the left is rotten to its very core. traditionalism aims to preserve society,culture,prosperity and anything that involves the status-quo.They only change policies when they are required to maintain prosperity and vanquish social unrest,this is unacceptable from the perspective of the left as social unrest its required to accelerate reforms that are or were not needed. If conservatives refuse to make all the reforms at once the left emerges from the shadows as the champion of prosperity and reforms.

This is why when left is not in power, they aim to make people fragile and easy to break they want you to feel miserable and insignificant in order to make you hate society and the status-quo. They make talks about how the current government is corrupt or wrong in its policies and they promise you that they will make it better once they are in power. But this is not true, once in power the left implements policies that will leech the wealth of the country in order to generate short-terms of artificial prosperity once all the wealth is drained the prosperity ends for the people, any wealth left is then confiscated by the elites of the new hierarchy.

Beware of the left, they have finally managed to indoctrinate the youth, if somebody ever calls the feelings police on you or they call you a bigot before a proper argument has even begun, then you are dealing with a lefty.

As a social-democrat, I have several problems with this.

Surely Russia 1917 shows a stunning example of what happens to countries that refuse to move with the times.

A country cannot prosper if it is trapped in the customs of its past.

We can always come to a mutual agreement and make a compromise between the cultural preservation and healthy change.
But right now, the mainstream left is not trustworthy

The Social Revolutionaries winning the November 1917 elections was more along what I was thinking.
They were that popular.

Then, of course, the Bolsheviks decided that they didn't like the Social Revolutionaries and declared the elections invalid, launching a 2-year civil war. That too.

It would be nice to actually have politicians who mean what they say.

I live in Egypt and see many people stray away from tradition day by day, and can only say that the further we part with our heritage is also the further we part with a prosperous future. There needs to be pride in the past, education from the mistakes of the past, and insight towards the future.

If something is clearly wrong with a specific tradition that was once done then it's a mistake. If you think it's a mistake then you can let that tradition go, because it isn't worthy of being tradition. It all comes down to what a person believes. Where you come from builds character, and where you're going gives purpose. Combine the two and you get personality (inb4 hurr durr ur all sheep comments). You look at things too shallowly and just look for anything to criticize.

Notice how unleashed always complains that the opposition is always full of illogical crazy sheep, but the moment somebody posts a proper response he banishes.
