Economic Ideology!

Which economic system do you most support? I had an issue with Capitalism and Libertarianism as they are both fairly similar. The only difference I could see is that Libertarians generally want no government on a wide variety of things including economics. Capitalism in general has private industry dominating the government with a mixture of government regulations to try and keep it stable.

How should our economy work?
A) "Men should work to earn capital and use such capital to buy goods that are on supply."
B) "I don't know, i am mentally retarded so i want communism"

Then after voting in the poll, the user has to write what should the role of the state be when it comes to the economy:

Government shouldn't intervene (Libertardians) [Corporations become the state]
Government should only intervene a little bit (Conservatives) [Corporation friendly]
Government should intervene only for the good being of the nation state and its people (Nat-Socs) [Populists]
Government should intervene a lot (Socialists) [Welfare state]

Socialism is the most fair for the world, capitalism is the best for a country because it exploits poorer countries like Bangladesh so the capitalist country becomes rich. Communism is an utopia and national socialism is good for a country too but is dangerous because they are agressive and can cause wars.

communism can also control the will of the people. the government can dictate your life. If your rich u have to pay back a lot like in form of taxes. basically everyone should have same wealth.

I dislike how people think all socialism is the same. There are extreme differences between different kind of socialists. Communists and Nazis are both socialists, for example. Just "socialism" doesn't mean shit.

Economic system relates to different variables, such as:

• ownership structure (Public, Private or Collective),
  
• economic coordination (planning, markets or mixed),
  
• management structure (Hierarchy versus adhocracy),
  
• the incentive system,
  
• and the level of centralization in decision-making.

In this sense, one could make the following rough distinction:
A. Capitalism

- State socialism
C. Communism

My original intent was mainly to discuss economics and such with little politics. By the time I got to capitalism I realized it is impossible to separate politics from economics. I tried getting what I felt were the main types of economic ideals into four broad categories essentially ranging from no government to all government (if that makes since). I was hesitant to put other economic systems like Fascism due to their (relative) obscure ideals and lack of any broad context outside of a country (at least that's my gist fof fascism).

A non-regulated/or almost no regulated economy at all leads to cyclical crisis (it's called Juglar cycles), typical of Libertarian/Capitalist economies (in a way).

I stand for a regulated economy by the State, however, the State should be corporation-friendly to prevent the economy from choking and stagnating. State should estimulate growth and help fabricating the conditions to create more jobs.

Capitalism is bad, but still better then any of these from rest..

I read it. For me, if a country is "communist", the government still has almost complete control over all industries in the country such as in the former Soviet Union or North Korea. China's private sector is larger than its public (state owned) sector. Most people in the Communist Party are in fact Capitalist. It's just the nature of the country's political culture, and specifically the legitimacy of the government, that continues the party-state domination of the CCP. To call themselves capitalist would threaten the very idea the country was founded on.

With that said though, the government still has immense control over the economy still setting quotas (though not as high as they were during Mao) and still maintaining large state owned enterprises from banks to factories.
