I call it piñata, when we talk about modern economics and 2008 financial crisis then suddenly Tik-Tok appear and start talking how it is Jewish fault because 2008 was 7th year in Hebrew calendar which mean they create recession for people to lose money so they can get it and store in their banks.

Debate about WWII: Tik-Tok arrive with Poland provoking Germany and Czechoslovakia oppressing German minorities, Nazi Germany just had to start WWII and declare war on India because Czechoslovakian oppression of German minorities had to stop. It was created by the Jews.

In 1938 a Polish nationalist assaulted the German embassy in Paris with a handgun. Germany wanted to build a railroad between mainland Germany and East Prussia over the Danzig region, which the Poles declined. Germany offered the Poles to hand over Danzig or it's war, Poles refused.

The circumstances of WWI are suspicious enough already. There had been a large animosity between Serbia and Austria-Hungary already because of Serb claims to Bosnia and Vojvodina, which were under the administration of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In fact, the whole business reeks of a setup considering the whole situation.

This leads one to speculate, because following the many offensive campaigns of 1916 both German, French and British armies in Europe were depleted but the Germans had millions of men returning from the East front by mid-1917. This indicates, at least in my eyes, a secret agreement between the two.

Of course they killed terrorist, Germany sent military instructors and weapons to terrorist German organization in Czechoslovakia. They recruited ethnic Germans to attack and sabotage Czechs. What normal country would not defend? It is same like Albania did in Serbia, funding Albanian minority and sending military to start uprising so they can get territory 50 years later after what Germans did.

You are not making your case easier by defending the agressors. Poland was no angel as well, they invaded Czechoslovakia with Germany, but that doesn't give Germans the right to occupy Poland.

Their general Conrad von Hozendorf mentioned war with Serbia 80 times in the early 1900's. 1) The Sudetendeutsches Freikorps you linked to were formed in September 1938. The area was annexed by Germany between the 1st and 10th of October the same year. How does less than a month of paramilitary presence justify oppression, state terror and civil restriction?
Unofficially it was formed 1933 but like I've stated those occurences of Czechoslovak brutality happened since the early 20's.

2) Many of those areas were inhabited by a majority of German-speaking citizens who saw themselves as German. Danzig was in fact one of the largest Nazi support bases, even compared to those in Germany of the day.

3) Serbia had since the late 1800's been claiming the areas of Vojvodina(Then part of the Kingdom of Hungary) and Bosnia-Herzegovina(Under military occupation of Austria-Hungary). They also, as obviously seen after war, had ambitions to dissolve the Austro-Hungarian Empire and establish a pan-slavic state(Yugoslavia). Austria-Hungary was defending themselves against terrorists backed by another country(Black Hand connections to the assassination and many other political killings in Austria-Hungary), to quote your own statements about Czechoslovakia.

4) The Jews returned to their land just to treat the Palestines like the Nazis treated Poles. i want to make it clear, except few exceptions the us funds don't really matter but only symbolic, the aid is only 0.5% of the israeli budget, and as far as i know israel has saves in dollars that exceeds 800% of its own gdp for critical times.

you need to understand the picture - Israel is considered ally of nato and the usa, the american governments helped to rebuild the army of lebanon, financed them their own air force and keeps sending them monies every year, they give the same funds to jordan and they fund and suppurt egyptian army, eventually policy should reflect something, so as i said, that's symbolic.

A single asteroid contains more iron in it than all the iron mined throughout human history. It's rare earth metal content would eclipse the entire Chinese market. It also contains an abundant supply of platinum, gold and nickel. A single asteroid would be worth a trillion. All for a 2-5 billion investment. We could mine 200 asteroids with 1/7th of the US cost of middle eastern wars over the last decade.

Just 3-5 asteroids would likely be enough to flood most urban areas with solar power, as solar power requires rare earth metals which the Chinese currently corner the market on. But who would need China with asteroid mining? Entire cities running on solar, with a higher efficiency brought about by better research and development. Why not invest in thorium? Geo Thermal? Hydro? Invest in electric cars, powered by local charge up stations running on an near infinite sustainable supply of energy. Make plastics redundant with better development in fake plastics. The Germans recently developed a new nuclear fusion reactor on just 20 billion. More efficient than anything seen before of its kind. The US could build 50 of them on 1/7th of the war cost. We could burn all the patents energy moguls have bought over the years from inventors to prevent competition to their control over energy. Tik tok romantisize the situation of asteroid mining and a fascist state, same as you fantasize about it and Russia. You two have more in common than you think.

Anyway my take on this:

-Economic, military and political dominance is in Russia's interests, just not in its capabilities at the time
-Russia does not have an advantage over US and China when it comes to asteroid mining since R&D and an actual mission would require an "astronomical budget" that Russia lacks.
-Russia is not the only capable of deep space exploration. USA abandoned most of its manned space program and retired its space shuttle, because a. congress didnt want to pay anymore and the shuttles were already "overlived" and b. russias soyuz can perfectly moove US astronauts to the ISS. USA pays, Russia travels, everybodies happy. Not to mention USA is coming back, since Boeing and SpaceX were awarded rights for their new spacecrafts and China is making huge progress. (and so does India)
- To get that "asteroid money" you and Tik fantasize about, it would firstly take decades more likely. Maybe less, but certainly not in the near future. As i said the funds required would be ridiculous high, only the fuel required and the size and manpower of the spacecraft would make the journey not worthwhile,at least yet.

Asteroid mining, is a mostly private sector project (planetary resources, deep space industries), so corporations have to make sure first, that not only do they have:

a. the funds (from multiple billionaire investors, since to put it i context even the silly space shuttle program cost 200 billion and each take off 1 billion (and thats just for laughable low earth orbit)
b. the return, has to be huge, for the companies to have profit (ie depletion of a mineral)
c. technological advancements, not there yet, atm the costs are too high for such missions

but also have guarantees about the legality of space mining revenues. Currently its all a bit vague, because USA signed the Open Space Treaty in the 70's (not sure about the name) basicly admitting space belongs to everyone, even Africa (ikr lol), but at the same time US congress, after private sector lobbying, recently passed a law that legalizes private asteroid mining and trading.

( yep, in 20-30 years when we will have finally nuked the Middle East and be done with it once and for all, the new wars will be over asteroid and moon/mars ownership disputes)




*Anyway tldr; you and Tik are both dreamers, since:

1.proper asteroid mining will take decades to happen and even then it will be by private companies and not governments
2. the cold war is over, major powers are not competing, when it comes to space stuff, Europe is making robots and Russia and USA are already working together on the ISS and China will join in soon to start contributing herself (about fucking time)

But isnt that what every nation in the world did/try to do? Why is Turkey, the Middle East, India. East Asia, Africa different? African tribes always fought each other. But it is united, more than every other continent with history on the planet. Middle East, killing each other. Asians? Territorial disputes, Koreas, Taiwan, China waters etc Russia? No sense of unity with old republics, most join Nato, others rebel (ukraine). Wars lasted short periods, in between there was peaceful coexistence which brought about prosperity. Russia was no different. They didn't dominate Northern/Central Eurasia and Eastern Europe though 'peaceful co operation. That was done through blood and iron.
